Magicolor 2350 en

Strengths: Excellent photo's, text

Weakness: very heavy, printing noise is above normal, too slow for business apps. Drivers are just plain useless.

I have been very pleased with this printer but, with newer models that are out now i dont think this printer is even worth considering unless you are printing photo's. For all other purposes go with something else.

Konica Minolta Magicolor 2350 EN Printer

Strengths: Mac/PC compatible. Network-ready. Photo-quality capability. Small footprint.

Weakness: no significant drawbacks yet noticed.

I love my magicolor 2350. The printer does so many different things and it is a dream come true to have it in my home. For starters, it does things most color lasers do not. It prints photographs very well, which is what I was looking for. Its 9600x600 dpi blows away comparable lasers by its competitors. I can select for it to print on glossy paper and photographic output and the prints are...

Konica Minolta Magicolor 2350 EN Printer

Strengths: beautiful printing of pictures (scanned slides) small footprint network-ready (built-in print server) web-enabled configuration/status information

Weakness: software installation using custom options problematical updated drivers from Minolta web site caused problems could not print photos using PCL6 driver

The print quality is wonderful, which is why I rank the 2350en with four stars -- that's why I bought it after all. I've been scanning (HP PhotoSmart s20) lots of 40-year-old slides my grandfather took, and am quite pleased with the results printing them on this printer. The step up between my HP 870Cxi inkjet printer and the 2350 color laser is all I hoped it would be. Images are sharper, colors...

Konica Minolta Magicolor 2350 EN Printer

Strengths: Easy install, great resolution on photos and small footprint

Weakness: No back light on LCD screen to view info.

For the small office or home, this printer delivers great looking photos, graphics, etc. From openning the box to the first full color photo print took less than 20 minutes. It's small footprint allows us to position it just about anywhere. All of our custom brochures and flyers will now be in house.

Konica Minolta Magicolor 2350 EN Printer

Strengths: Simple non-network USB setup. Alot of RAM.

Weakness: Envelope wrecker, horrible ergonomics, no display backlight.

Forget even THINKING about buying this printer if you ever intend to use it to print envelopes. The paper path produces rolled, creased envelopes that cannot be used in a business environment. I have owned three other laser printers that printed envelopes properly. This one has serious envelope processing design flaws. The advertised "footprint" is small, but the media tray is located on the side...

Konica Minolta Magicolor 2350 EN Printer

Strengths: The color and resolution are unbelievably good. This printer prints on 20 lb. copy paper with a sort of semi-gloss appearance. I am very pleased with the quality of printing and color.

Weakness: I wish it would deal with economy envelopes better. It glues them shut. I'll use laser compatible labels instead. It also oesn't seem to print night scences as well as I'd like it to.

Anyone who likes to print a lot of snap shots will save more than enough money over time to offset the lower cost of inkjet printers. Those inkjet cartridges will add up to the price of this printer quickly for those who print a lot of pictures. Heavier paper comparable to the thickness of photo paper is available. I smile everytime I print something in color.
