Product Details of Panasonic PV-VM202 MiniDV

Description

Revolutionary detachable design. Compact MiniDV camcorder one minute, it converts into an even smaller digital still camera the next, leaving the detachable MiniDV cassette drive behind for greater portability (power adapter/flash unit included). High-resolution optics. Detail-rich 1.0-megapixel 1/3.8" CCD and high-quality Leica Dicomar lens with 10x optical zoom capture sharp, clear images with true-to-life color and crisp resolution up to 1200 x 900 in still images. Progressive PhotoShot digital still mode. Built-in digital camera functionality with 2 resolution levels and a fuzz-diminishing Progressive mode, which captures data, temporarily stores it in 2 fields, then combines them for a single clear photo. Secure Digital compatibility. The built-in SD card slot is feature-integrated to provide an easy store-and-swap solution for transferring saved data to and from a computer or other SD-equipped device (16MB SD card included). 2.5" color LCD and color viewfinder. Find a comfortable recording angle with the twist-and-turn 2.5" color LCD monitor and built-in color viewfinder, then use the LCD to play back recent and recorded video. MPEG-4 Internet movie mode. Records video in a highly compressed, yet still high-quality MPEG-4 format, making the files easier to transfer from SD card to computer and reducing the time it takes to send them over the Internet. Image stabilization. The dual digital electronic image stabilizer is integrated to compensate for hand and camcorder movement to prevent picture distortion while recording. MagicPix low-light images. Captures full-color video and still photos, even when shooting in dim and dark lighting conditions.
