The latest Palm product to feature built-in wireless access to Internet content and e-mail, the Palm VIIx handheld features a fourfold increase in memory to 8MB and 40 bundled web clipping applications, nearly double the wireless content bundled with the original Palm VII handheld.
Quick Glance
Installed Memory: 2 MB
Wireless Internet: Wi-Fi
Operating System: Palm OS 3.5
Interface Connection: 1 x 9-pin DB-9 RS-232 - Serial
Strengths: Got it for about $40 -- can't beat that.
Software is pretty straightforward.
Weakness: Software is limited.
This is my first PDA. It is definitely doing the job. The Graffiti software works reasonably well but not as well as I'd like. Very glad to have purchased an organizer, very pleased with the price I paid for this one. No immediate plans to upgrade.
